“Really Strategies provides us with the third-party expertise we need.”
LANSDALE, Pa.–November 9, 2000–Really Strategies, a content management consulting and services provider to publishers, media and Internet companies, is assisting health science publisher F.A. Davis Company with its content conversions to support its licensing and product development programs.
Really Strategies is developing processes to extract content, such as definitions from Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, from F.A. Davis' internal systems and databases and deliver it to licensees. Licensees have widely varying requirements for delivery of such data, ranging from plain text to HTML to XML/SGML.
"When we needed support for our growing content licensing product development programs, we turned to Really Strategies, who has both the technical expertise and business knowledge to assist in our process," said Bruce Craven, vice president, Information Systems/Electronic Publishing at F.A. Davis Company. "With the help of Really Strategies, we are able to meet the data delivery specifications of our clients and electronic product developers."
"We are pleased to help F.A. Davis Company with its growing content licensing program. A number of F.A. Davis clients are looking for content, however, all need slightly different delivery formats," stated Barry Bealer, president and CEO of Really Strategies. "We quickly learned those client needs and are developing efficient delivery processes to satisfy both F.A. Davis and their clients."
